II
House, C17 or earlier, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched. 3-bay main range aligned approx. N-S with axial chimney stack at S end, external chimney stack at N end. 2-bay crosswing to S. Single-storey extension to S, C20. Lean-to porch at S end of hall, forming a catslide roof. Aspect E. 2 storeys in crosswing, remainder single storey with attics. Ground floor, 4 casement windows (one probably C18, others C20). First floor, 3 C20 casement windows, of which 2 are in gabled dormers. All windows have C20 diamond leading. 2 diagonal shafts on main chimney stack. Date 1578 inscribed in modern plaster in gable of crosswing.
