GV II
House. C16 or earlier. Timber framed and plastered with exposed frame to hall. Red plain tiled roofs, the hall range hipped to left. Off centre right red brick chimney stack with attached diagonal shafts. L-plan with forward half hipped crosswing to right and lower level extension to left. 2 storeys and attics and cellar. 1:2:1 window range of mainly 3 and 4 light leaded casements. Red tiled open porch to left of main range with vertically boarded door. Reputed to contain moulded ceiling beams and joists. North west wall with chamfered studs forming panels. 3 original doors similar to ledged cellar door of moulded battens. Open timber ceilings above hall and sitting room. Original fireplaces. RCHM 4.
