Barn. Early C16. Timber framed with black weather-boarding, corrugated asbestos gabled roof; brick and flint wall to outshot at S. end. 5 bays with lean-to outshots on E. side, S. end and part of W. side. central double door on W. side, E. doors missing; centre bay of barn extends into E. outshot. Frame has jowled posts, cambered tie beams with arched braces (some replaced) and crown posts with longitudinal arched braces to collar purlin. Trenched external down-brace at N. end of E. wall. Similar braces missing from other corners. Sole plate, middle rail and wall plate; remnants of brick plinth. Centre posts in end walls to wall-plate level. Secondary intermediate studs to W. wall. Gables and remainder of roof modern. Remains of brick threshing floor; timber floors at both ends. Edge-halved and bridled scarf in wall plate over W. doorway. Edge-halved scarf near S. end of E. wall plate. Studs and plates grooved for wattles.
The Barn is part of the former Sewell's Farm; the house was demolished circa 1970.
