House. Mid C16. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof, hipped and sprocketed with gablets. Off centre red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys. 4 window range to first floor, 5 range to ground floor of square leaded vari- light windows, some with C17 iron windows in C20 frames. C20 enclosed gabled red tiled porch. Original, nailed 4 board side door. Of 4 bays with stop chamfered bridging joists, soffit tenons with diminished haunches, some serpentine braces to walls. Jowled storey posts to original lean-to. Arch braced side purlin roof. Original first floor red brick fireplace with chamfered mantel beam over. RCHM 9.
