3/61 Unnamed cottage approx. 40 metres west-north-west of Ringers

Cottage. C18. Timber framed, plastered with weatherboarded dado, roof thatched. 2 bays facing S, with original stack in left return wall, and C20 external stack on right return wall. Lean-to porch at rear, roofed with corrugated asbestos. One storey with attics. 2-window range of C20 casements, the upper ones in swept dormers. C20 plain boarded door. Gambrel roof half-hipped at right end only. Chamfered axial beams, exposed joists. Primary straight bracing. Wood-burning hearth. Similar in design to Garlands Cottage, Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield, but without modern extensions.
