CANVEY ISLAND HAVEN ROAD TQ 78 SE 3/4 Nos. 1, 1A, and 2 to 8 (consecutive) 13-9-73 - II
A row of former Coast Guard cottages, now empty. Late C19. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Grey slate roof. 5 chimney stacks to front and rear. 2 storeys. 6 first floor doors in pairs at one time lead on to a timber balcony. 9 first and ground floor windows and 9 doors to ground floor, all boarded at time of re-survey. The doors appear to be vertically boarded with tripartite fanlights over and the windows vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars.
