Details

ST BRIAVELS CHURCH STREET SO 50 SE (north side) 6/150 Monument to Henary Worgan in the churchyard c 3 metres south east of the south east corner of the south transept to the Church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Flat top to moulded edge, flat panels with slight drafted margins, base sunk at time of survey, November 1983. To Henary (sic) Worgan, 1687; the design of the monument is not characteristic of this date, and may well be later. Lies immediately east of Elizabeth Butler monument (qv).
