HAWKHURST RYE ROAD TQ 7630-7730 (north side) 17/409 Little Fowlers

GV II House. Early C19 or earlier, altered and extended mid C19. Rendered, with tile hung rear range on red brick ground floor. Plain tiled roofs. Front: 2 storeys and attic with 2 full gables to left and to right with pierced bargeboards and with stacks to end left and to end right. Regular fenestration of mullioned casements in gables, on first floor of 3, 2 and 3-lights and 2 on ground floor of 2-lights with cornices. Central doubled panelled doors in gabled porch with pierced bargeboards. Gabled wing at end left of 1 storey, also with pierced bargeboards, and with fully glazed gabled conservatory on rendered base, with arcaded windows and pierced bargeboards. Right return wing of 2 storeys and attic, with central gable, 2 gabled dormers, 3 sashes on first floor, and tripartite sashes on ground floor.
