C16 hall and crosswing house with late C16 inserted stack and flooring over of
original hall. West crosswing largely rebuilt C19 in brick. Timber-framed hall
range brick clad. Old tile roofs except west wing which is slated. Hall range with
crosspassage at east and large stack at west junction with crosswing has 4 diagonal
shafts. South elevation with colourwashed rendered 1st floor, masonry-scribed.
East or service wing extends north with brick infilled close-studded
timber-framing. South gable elevation with triple casements with horizontal sliding
sash. West wing of 3 bays with centre door and recessed barred sashes.
