2. Late C19. By Swinfen Harris. Asymmetric and eccentric brick house. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows to 1st floor. Tile roof, with crow-stepped gable to south-east; crested ridge. Panelled chimney stack with protruding draft pipes. Moulded brick string, dropped below 1st floor window on left and moulded modillion cornice. Jettied gable to right forms attic - pegged timber framing with brick nogging and moulded bargeboard. 2 light casement window. Cross ridge to gable with ornate wrought iron pinnacles at each end. Casement windows, various patterns including mullions and transoms and, on ground floor to left a pair with cusped heads, some dressings and the heads of stone. Central door with segmental head and with a panel having 'NISI DOMINUS' over. Tumbled brickwork beside crow-stewed gable. Fish tail tile hanging in gable end of south-west extension. The pinnacle here is a terracotta bird on a pot.
