GV II

House. Early-mid C18, refronted and probably re-roofed later C18. Red brick front, remainder red and vitreous brick, with plain tile mansard roof. Brick chimneys to rear. L-plan with staircase projection in rear angle. 2 storeys, attic and cellars, 3 bays to front. Front has shallow gabled parapet with stone coping and central leaded roundel in gauged brick surround. 3-pane sash windows with deep gauged segmental arches; 2 flat-roofed dormers with paired wooden casements; cellar opening to left. Central flush-panelled door with 3-pane fanlight and segmental arch. Porch removed. Sides have 3-pane sashes and blind windows with shallower segmental arches, and C20 round windows in gables. Small C20 extension to rear wing. Interior: C18 panelled rooms in right bay and to upper floor of left bay, the latter room also having a bolection-moulded fireplace with moulded cornice; staircase with delicate turned balusters.
