II
House. C17, much rebuilt late C18-early C19, altered and extended
C20. Externally rebuilt in flint and brick with brick first floor
band-course. Old tile roof, brick chimneys to left and between
right bays. T-plan, the rear wing probably a C18 addition, with
C20 extensions to right. 1 1/2 storeys, 3 bays. Upper storey has
C20 Venetian windows with small gables above. Ground floor right bays
have C20 4-light wooden casements with segmental heads. Lean-to with
C20 door and window to front of left bay; blocked doorway with small
diamond-shaped window between right bays. Interior shows timber
framing with curved braces in left bays, the centre bay with stop-
chamfered joists and ogee wind-braces. Re-used chamfered spine
beam and joists in right bay.
