CHESTERTON ROAD 1. 942 (North Side) Chesterton Hall TL 4459 15/227 26.4.50 II 2. Early / Mid C17; 2 storeys with attics; red brick, stone dressings; symmetrically designed front to road; moulded brick band between storeys; 3 mullioned and transomed windows; later glazing; 3 brick dormers with semi-circular gables; end walls shaped gables. Rectangular stairtower added in C19. No original features remain inside. (RCHM 309).
