Originally house C18 with early C19 and later additions. Local
brown brick; slate and modern interlocking tile roofs. Two
storeys with wing to left hand and rear range with two storey
bay window facing west. C18 facade to north; stone coped
parapet, three first floor, recessed, twelve-paned hung sash
windows in cambered gauged brick arches. Two similar ground
floor windows flank half-glazed door with small pseudo pediment
in rectangle below flat arch of door. Built on surviving part
of the ancient sea bank.
