Shop, mid C19. Yellow gault brick with red and black brick bands and moulded brick cornice, slate roof. Occupying corner position with Union Street. Four storeys, two 'bays'. Large central stack with deep brick cornice repeated at roof cornice. Two, four-paned hung sash recessed windows with patterned stone arches. Pair of large, canted, hung sash bay windows at both first and second floor with modern shop at ground floor. Included for group value.
