1. 5141 CASTOR THE GREEN (west side) Prince of Wales Feathers (formerly listed as the Prince of Wales Public House) TL 1298 50/123 14.11.74 II GV 2. Early C19 stone house with ashlar front. Low pitched slate roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Three window range. Centre first floor blind. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor sashes have modern leaded panes. Stone lintels with keyblocks. Band at floor level. Central round arched doorway with keyblock, blind fanlight and modern door. End stacks with brick tops. C18 wing adjoining south, formerly a separate cottage, facing Peterborough Road, stone rubble with steep pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick end stacks. One storey and attic. Two wedge-shaped dormers with casements, ground floor three C19 sashes. C19 single storey addition in angle on corner, ashlar, slate roof and wide segmental arched windows. RCHM (27) page 68.
