Details
1. 5141 CASTOR PETERBOROUGH ROAD (north side) Home Farmhouse TL 1298 50/159 15.12.55 II GV 2. Probably C17 house. Coursed stone with steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. L-shaped on plan with hipped angle to roof. The rear north-west wing contains a pigeon-house and the east part has been converted from stables. Two storeys. Three windows. Two and 3-light casements. C19 door and modern lean-to conservatory on front. Large stone ridge stack off centre and modern brick ridge stack. Fire insurance plaque on front wall. Interior: stopped chamfer ceiling beams, those in east end have run-out stops. RCHM (34) page 68.
