1. WERRINGTON 1500 HALL LANE Werrington Hall TF 1703 20/52 7.2.52. II GV 2. Main section is circa 1779, extended to south in 1951. North wing, now separate, is probably of early C18 origin. South extention is rendered with a stone slate roof, 2 storeys. 2 windows, stone rusticated architraves, modern casements. 1 3-light window on ground floor, casement with modern glazing bars, modern architrave. Rendered chimney stack. Centre section is of 2 storeys and attics. Coursed rubble, ashlar quoins and window and door dressings. Stone slate mansard roof with one flat topped dormer, Gothic lancet headed glazing, as in Nos 32 and 34 (qv). Stone gable ends. Modillion eaves cornice. 3 windows of 3, 2, 3 lights, Gothic heads, in rusticated ashlar architraves with keystone. 2 windows of 3 lights below. 6 fielded door with glazed rectangular fanlight, rusticated architrave with keystone. Werrington Hall, Dovecote and Werrington Hall (North) form a group.
