Farmhouse. Late C17. Local red and yellow brick, plain tile
roofs two ridge stacks. Two storeys and attics with two wings
to east, south east wing C20 replacement of original timber
framed service wing, north east wing with gabled stair turret in
angle. East facade. Red and yellow brick banding at first and
attic floors, square headed labels to original window openings.
One casement, gabled dormer window, two casement windows and
garden window to north east wing; two three-light windows to
parapeted stair turret; one first floor casement window and
twelve-paned ground floor window to main range. Modern entrance
to left hand in open porch. Interior (not seen 1984), fine
ceiling beams, spiral staircase; clunch and limestone reused
possibly from Chamberlains Manor.
