TL 3653 GREAT EVERSDEN WIMPOLE ROAD (South east side) 12/97 Tinniswood II

House. C.1600. Timber framed, plaster rendered. Combed wheat reed thatch roof, hipped to crosswings and original red brick, plastered, ridge stack to hall. Double ended hall house with crosswings projecting on south side only. Hall of one storey and attic. One gable dormer on south side, and modern casement and doorway. Crosswings are of two storeys. Two small modern windows, possibly in original openings to each end. Inside: three bay hall range, including narrower chimney bay. Intersecting main beams, with leaf stop chamfers. Arch braced tie beams and jowled heads to main posts.
