TL 4055 BARTON COMBERTON ROAD 12/2 (South Side) 7.10.83 South Dales Barn (formerly listed as Barn at Dales Farm) II GV Barn, now house. 1766 dated on tiebeam and post with initials ET, WA and RA. Timber-framed, weatherboarded on sill of narrow gault brick, possibly rebuilt, and longstraw thatched roof, half-hipped at ends. Four bays, aisled with original cart entrance on north side. Inside: jowled wall posts and arch braced tiebeams. Queen strut roof trusses with collars. Aisle principal rafter supporting aisle purlin. R.C.H.M. West Cambs., mon.(5)
