Details
WEST WICKHAM HIGH STREET TL 6149 (North-West Side) 18/139 No. 27 (Cobwebs) 22.11.67 (formerly listed as White Hall) II House. Early C17 origin, C18 reconstruction and addition. Timber-framed, plastered with brick front wall. Tiled, half hipped roof with early C17 ridge stack of grouped shafts set diagonally. c.1700 south west projecting end stack. c.1800 addition forms an L-plan. Two storeys and attic. Three hipped dormers with moulded wood eaves cornice. Nearly symmetrical front elevation of two twelve pane hung sashes at first floor. Four similar windows at ground floor on either side of doorway. c.1800 flat hood and moulded doorcase. The c.1800 addition at the rear is brick find thatched. One storey and attic. Interior: has a moulded ceiling beam exposed in the entrance hall.
