Details
TL/ 4238 GT & LT CHISHILL MAY STREET (West side) 24/39 No.8 (Hill Farmhouse) GV II Farmhouse. C17 with C19 alterations and additions. Timber-framed and roughcast rendered. C19 red plain tiled half hipped roof with central C17 ridge stack with grouped shaft. Two storeys with attics and C19 rear leanto; original two unit lobby entry plan. Gable to street and main entrance in south elevation. C19 gabled red brick closed porch with patterned barge boards and panelled door. One ground floor sixteen-paned hung sash window to right hand and two casement windows at each floor level to left hand. Interior details C19. RCHM Report 1949
