GV II
House, formerly a farmhouse. C16 with C17 and C18 additions, C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed and plastered, and part cased in late C19 gault brick. Plain tiled roofs, three rear stacks. Two storeys, L-plan with rear kitchen and service rooms recently extended. North-west elevation. Four-panelled door to right of centre with open trellised porch. Four ground floor hung sash windows and five first floor horizontal sliding sash windows or casement windows. Interior: Refitted in C18; rear brick chimney with guarderobe projection to main range. (RCHM). The house, barns and gatehouse are situated within a moated site.
