Godmanchester BRIDGE PLACE 1. 5140 (East Side) ------------ Huntingdon Hosiery Mill (Disused) TL 2471 3/91 29.5.69. II GV

2. Circa 1850. Built in 3 sections, all of white brick. The front portion has 3 storeys and attic, 8 windows. 5 dormers, round-headed sash windows, on ground floor and casement windows above. The back portion is of lower elevation, 3 storeys and 10 windows, all 2-light casements. The rear wing is at right angles to the others. 3 storeys, 2-light casement windows, some obscured. All roofs are tiled, partly damaged. Said to be the oldest factory in Huntingdon district. Very important position at south end of Huntingdon Bridge.
