12/37 Nos. 5 and 7 (formerly listed as 21.10.52 No. 41 and 42) - II
House, now 2 houses. C17 origins, dated ILA/1720, with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Rubble with pantiled roof, concrete tiled roof to rear. 2½ storeys and 3 windows, all C19 mullion and transom multi-pane casements under timber lintels, C20 porch containing 2 doors to right, door to No. 7 has ovolo and ogee moulded lintel with carved grotesque head in the centre; blocked window to 1st floor right, 2 gables each with blocked window. Lower wing to right of 2 storeys and 2 windows, all C20, ground left in canted bay. Rear has single gable to main block and 2-storey wing to left with gable, irregular C19 and C20 windows and single storey C20 extension.
