2. Watermill, now disused. Early C19. Limeworked rubble, brick window heads, pantile roofs, cast and wrought iron and timber machinery. West elevation: 3 storeys, 6 windows, all under segmental heads, some have 3-light casements, some are blank, off- centre left is door, repeated immediately above, off-centre right is a large segmental headed cast entry, hipped roof; large lean-to on south elevation, one eaves window to north; rear elevation, built into hillside shows 2 storeys, plain windows to right and left of entry sluice from mill pond. Interior: remarkably complete machinery including at ground floor an overshot cast iron wheel with wrought iron buckets, adjacent pit wheel has applewood teeth, great spurwheel has C20 guard, stone nut with lifting mechanism intact; on stone floor above are 2 stones with runs, an auxiliary shaft (now guarded), water through a cast iron launder with regulator; on second floor is a sack hoist shaft and drum, associated traps are complete throughout, various bins and an extractor fan.
