- II
House, now 2 houses, Brockley End to front and Brockley Chase in rear wing. Late C18, with early - mid C19 rear wing and later alterations. Stucco, part rendered, hipped slate roof with 2 ridge stacks, rear wing partially roofed in asbestos slates. L-plan. 2 storeys and 4 windows, all sashes, with external shutters at first floor, 2nd from right 1/2-glazed door in moulded architrave (formerly central, front range extended to left beyond line of hipped roof in same style), 3 bays to right have canopied verandah on wrought iron piers; cornice, parapet and coping, 2 dormers each with 2-light casement. Right return rendered, 2 sashes at first floor, one at ground floor left, square bay to right with plate glass sashes; lower 2-storey rear wing has 2 sashes at first floor, sash and C20 3-pane light at ground floor. Left return has canted bay with sashes and small sash above, cornice and parapet returned, rear of main house has 2-light dormer; rear wing has 3 windows, ground floor has French window, C20 glazed door with flat hood and 2-light casement, first floor has oriel with plate glass sashes and 2 sashes under eaves. Interior: not inspected.
