Details

YATTON C.P. HIGH STREET (south side) ST 46 NW 5/158 Somerset House - II House. Early C19 with mid C19 rear wing. Rubble, front block rendered, brick dressings to rear wing, slate roof with crestings and brick gable stacks. 2 storeys and 3 windows, all 16-pane sashes in exposed boxes, central panelled and glazed door, fanlight with radial glazing bars set in round-headed opening, porch has cast iron decorative panels to front, wood trellis to sides and segmental hood with radial struts to front. Right return has single light at ground floor left, small 2-light casement with glazing bars at attic; left return has attached greenhouse, plate-glass sash with segmental head at first floor left, C20 2-light casement at attic. Rear has C20 plate-glass window at ground floor left, sash with wider central pane above; 2-storey rear wing in random rubble with asbestos slate roof hipped at end, has 3 doors, those to right and left with brick segmental heads, and single C20 light, first floor has sashes with wider central pane, brick surround and segmental head, one to right and 2 to left side. Interior: not inspected.
