HAWKESBURY C.P. HAWKESBURY ST 78 NE Bennett, Brooks, Iles and 4/105 Limerick Chest Tombs, 5 yards from north porch of St Mary the Virgin

4 Chest Tombs. Early C19th. Ashlar with panelled sides, pilaster strips or corner balusters and cornice. Iles, 1812; Bennett, 1821; Limerick 1821; Brooks, 1828. The chest tombs form a good collection of classical and vernacular tomb types and contribute greatly to the setting of the church.
