House. Early C17, altered subsequently and extended early C20. Rubble with plain tiled roof. L-plan with earlier wing to north. 2 storeys. South Front. 3 bays plus one in C20 extension at left, the outer ones have 2 storey canted bays one with a gable, casement and cross windows, verandah across whole of ground floor and central glazed door. East elevation. Central gabled section with 4-light casement window on ground floor, in ovolo moulded surrounds and with mullions and under a dripmould and relieving arch, 3-light casement with moulded mullions on first floor. Rebuilt stonework extends for one bay to the right, plank door under C20 porch. Interior. Kitchen (rear): chamfered beams with broached stops. Dining room: chamfered and framed ceiling. Rear staircase has decorative wall painting on the string and enclosing walls - a swirling leaf motif on plaster and wood and bulbous balusters to the upper part. Included primarily for the older, rear part with its internal features.
