II
Gate Lodge, gates and gatepiers. Circa 1820. Finely squared, dressed and coursed sandstone with freestone dressings and slate roof to lodge, sandstone to piers, wooden gates. Rectangular lodge with canted end set at right-angles to road. 1 storey with 2-light round-headed windows under hoodmoulds with small pane and Y tracery glazing. Central doorway in canted bay with flush headed panel door. C20 stone porch to drive. Centre ridge stone stack with brick cap. Gatepiers are approximately 2 metres high. Vermiculated rustication to bases and coved caps, chamfered rustication to piers. Pedestrian and drive gates with chamfered lattice work panels.
