3/22 Well head about 45 metres south 21.9.60 west of Chew Court G.V. II
Original well of Chew Court (q.v.) of mediaeval origin; enclosed at later date. Sandstone rubble walls with inset transplanted limestone details. Door opening to rear with heavy stone lintel and 4-pane C20 window, 2 cusped quatrefoil windows (blind), carved limestone panel and carved head, one gargoyle and 2 finials set on top of wall.
