II
House. C18, possibly incorporating earlier building, with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Rubble, painted, with limestone dressings, double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges, stone gable stack to left and ridge stack to possible former gable end. Irregular plan formed by accumulation, including wing projecting to front right and rear probable staircase tower. 2 storeys, 3 bays to left of ridge stack, 2 to right, single bay wing; from left, ground floor has two 3-light casements with leaded lights, panelled and glazed door with flat hood, first floor has similar 3-light casement left and right and central C20 2-light casement, all under eaves; lower floor level to right, similar 3-light casement at ground floor, first floor has small 2-light pointed arched window and similar 3-light casement; inner side of wing has ground floor 3-light casement, front has sash with timber lintel at-first floor. Left return has 4-pane attic light; right return of wing has 2 single light and one 4-light C20 casement with lattice glazing and timber lintels, first floor has 2-light casement with timber lintel to left, 3-light C20 casement with 4-centred arch to right, roof hipped to right; lower block set back to right with 4-centred arched door, and continued as rear wing to left of rear. Rear 2½ storey stair tower has 3-light casement with timber lintel at attic level. Rest of rear and interior not accessible.
