THE TRIANGLE 1. 5121 (In centre) Clock Tower ST 4071 1/120 II GV 2. Late C19/early C20 square tower on an island site. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Projecting eaves with tiled pyramidal roof turning octagonal and supporting a weathervane. Stone bands with coloured and patterned tiles divide the tower into 3 storeys, the upper band also with coloured detached shafts. Round clock face to each side of upper storey. Pointed doorway rising through plinth on ground floor. Arched recess for fountain.
The Clock Tower forms a group with The Clock Tower Public House, Nos 5, 10 and 12, The Triangle and Nos 5 to 12 (consec) Chapel Hill. All these buildings are of local interest with the exception of The Clock Tower.
