Pair of attached houses converted into one. Circa mid C18. Rendered and painted
stone rubble. Asbestos slate and rag slate roof with gable ends and projecting stone
rubble chimney stack on left-hand gable end with set-offs and cloam oven projection.
Originally two 1-room cottages with entrances near centre. Built into side of
steeply sloping bank.
2 storeys regular 3-window front. Ground floor with C19 16-pane hornless sash on
left, partly glazed C20 stable-type door, 16-pane sash with horns in blocked entrance
and C19 16-pane hornless sash to right. First floor with 2 C19 2-light sliding
sashes and C19 2-light centre-hung casement between.
Interior with ceiling beams replaced in right-hand room and partly blocked fireplace
on left-hand gable end.
