16/9 Home Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Late C17. Timber framed, rendered and reed thatched, half hipped
roof. Rebuilt ridge stack. Original L-plan, with late C20 extension in the angle. Two storeys and attic. Symmetrical front with two flush frame small pane hung sashes at first and ground storeys. The central doorway has a modern door. The ground floor has been rebuilt but the first floor framing remains intact. Inside: Unstopped double ovolo moulded main beam to a ground floor room. Some exposed framing at first floor with downward bracing and butt purlin roofs to front and rear ranges.
