Early C18 farmhouse. L-plan with stair turret in angle. C19
additions at rear. Red brick and steeply pitched, plain tile
roof with tumbled gable ends and end stacks. Two storeys and
attics with band between ground and first floors. Two gabled
dormers. Range of four C19 recessed hung sashes with glazing
bars. Cambered arches to three similar windows and off centre
doorway at ground floor. Panelled door. C19 gault brick
addition to North. Plain tiled with dentil cornice. One
storey. Segmental arch to blocked carriageway opening, now with
hung sash. Interior: Early C18 staircase of four flights and
landing. Closed string with square newel posts and turned
balusters. One inglenook fireplace to North, ground floor room
and another, now sealed, to rear range. Original doors and
cupboards in ground and first floor rooms.
