Pair of red brick cottages, late C17 with early C19 alterations, in English Garden Wall Bond. Single storey with attic, single storey rear linked out- buildings forming a 'T' on plan. Rendered plinth and gable ends. Three gable half-dormers in old slate roof of diminished courses with sandstone ridge. Heavy label courses above 3 ground floor flush casement windows, 2 replacement ledged and battened entrance doors with strap hinges. Bear attic windows are horizontal sliding sashes. The outbuilding to No 34 has been altered but No 32 retains its slate roof with sandstone ridge. Some timber eaves gutter remains at the rear.
Internally in No 32 there is a cottage staircase, ledged and battened doors with wrought iron H hinges, one Jacobean style two panelled door and exposed main roof timbers.
