2. Circa 1800. Red brick; 3 storeys; one plain sash window and one Venetian window, both in stucco surrounds and the latter with Tuscan pilasters and moulded wreath on extrados; 1+3 sash windows to 2nd storey in moulded stucco surrounds; moulded wood eaves; slates. Modern shop fronts. The building is L-shaped on plan with elevation to rear wing facing Market Square. This is of similar character but has 3 sash window with keyblocks and channelled lintels, semi-circular headed doorway with stone arch and keyblock and wood modillion eaves cornice.

No 5. Town Hall and Nos 7 to 11 (odd) form a group.
