Eastern entrance of southern gateway to Tirley Garth

Gatepiers and stile: c1910 by C E Mallows. Bossed red sandstone. 3
rectangular piers, with 2-stage steeply hipped capstones, have canted
jambs with similar caps. Right hand side contains recent wooden
gateway across vehicular access. Left hand pair has 4 steps of
reducing size, on each side and a stone bar forming the stile.
Listed for group value.
