Pair of semi-detached cottages. C17 with addition c1700. Coursed dressed limestone, concrete tiled roof, brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey, 3-window front. Planked door in chamfered stone case with hoodmould, recessed chamfered single lights either side, to right is 3-light ovolo-mullioned window with hoodmould, to left is 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned window with hoodmould. First floor has 3-light ovolo-mullioned window to right, 2-light and 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned window to left. Coped stone verges. To left is attached single-storey extension with planked door to No 5 and 3-light casement, dormer with 2-light casement. Right return is gable end to road, 2-light ovolo-mullioned window to attic and single blocked window to first floor. Rear has 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned window, two 2-light and one 1-light casements to ground floor, first floor has 2-light and 3-light ovolo-mullioned window to left, 2-light and single recessed chamfered mullioned windows to right; no hoodmoulds. Interior not accessible at time of survey (March 1985). The west bay, towards the road appears to be the earlier C17 build, with the part to the east being a rebuild and addition of c1700.
