II
Fives court wall. C19. Limestone ashlar-faced rubble to plain thin stone capping. Plain wall with splayed returns c.4m high with offsets at c.3m to returns, and plinth of slight projection c.750 mm high. The projecting 'wings' are c.1.75 m long externally. The wall lies enclosed by various later buildings or walls, set back from Angel Lane c.5m, and was presumably in the garden of the Angel Inn in Market Place.
