SE 18 NW MIDDLEHAM SWINE MARKET (south side) 9/68 Houses of Mr and Mrs Bell, Mr and Mrs Bell, Mr and Mrs Adamson

3 houses. Early-mid C19. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays in all. To left of each bay, part-glazed door in plain ashlar surround with plinths. Ground floor: bay 2, C20 casement window; bay 3, late C19 shop window. Other windows, sashes with glazing bars, smaller on second floor with 9-pane unequally-hung sashes. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to right, stacks at ends and between bays one and 2, 2 and 3.
