Carriage drive gates and gateway to The Grove

Gates and gateway. Early C19. Wrought-iron, coursed rubble and ashlar.
Plain gates with lamp-bracket above in central segmental-arched opening in
rubble wall. Rusticated ashlar quoins; flanking plain ashlar door
surrounds, with 2-panel door on left, blocked on right. To gateway,
rusticated piers supporting ashlar arch with archivolt. String course.
Cornice. 2 ashlar plaques, both painted with worn early C19 lettering 'THE
GROVE'.
