2/179 The Old Post Cottage
GV II Cottage. C16 or C17. Timber frame with whitewashed infill, brick laced flint to gable of the third bay. Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 3 bays, comprising a taller upper parlour bay, independently framed, and lower bays. Framing 3 panels high with corner braces. Entrance lateral to upper bay, a boarded door. Two and 3-light windows and square C20 bay on the lowest right end. Flush dormer to upper bay, and small gabled dormer to central bay. C17 brick stack at junction of builds. Roof half hipped. Interior not seen - may be of interest.
