11/62 Front wall and piers to Antrobus House
GV II Garden retaining wall with gate piers, gate and terminal pier. 1924-25, by Geoffrey Fildes. Wall of flint and stone chequerwork with moulded stone copings, formerly carrying railings. Total height approximately lm, extending approximately 43m across front elevation of building, with 45cm brick pier at south end, and centre section incurved to similar brick piers, with brick moulded necking and stone cornice. Gate piers crowned with tall stone vases. Six rounded stone steps. Iron gates. Of group value with Antrobus House (q.v.).
