GV II

Farmhouse. Early-mid C18 with C19 and later alterations. Coursed rubble, Welsh slate roof. L-shaped plan with rear wing to left. 2 storeys, 1:1 bays. Quoins at ends and to left of doorway, perhaps indicating that left- hand half is the older. Central doorway with ashlar architrave on bases but unsympathetic C20 door. To left on each floor a sash window with ashlar lintel and projecting sill, that to first floor flanked by blocked small square windows, and with iron ties to first floor. To right on each floor a C20 casement window with ashlar lintel and projecting sill. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. End stacks. The left half may formerly have been the gable end of an earlier range represented by the rear wing, possibly originally of 3 storeys.
