House. c1870 with C20 alterations. Rockfaced stone to ground floor, ashlar to upper floor, slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance in central projecting bay has Tuscan pilasters to porch, modillioned cornice; C20 plank doors, rectangular fanlight. 2 tall ground floor windows with plain surrounds and aprons. Upper floor string course. 3 upper floor windows, plain surrounds. Modillioned eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Left of centre ridge stack. At rear of right-hand return is taller 3 storey block. Interior not accessible. Garden wall of rockfaced stone. Vermiculated stone gate piers and moulded caps inscribed: BRACKENLEY HOUSE.
