GV II
Agricultural building with loose boxes on ground floor and granary on first
floor. Late C18 - early C19. Probably by John Foss of Richmond. Coursed
rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Plinth.
Quoins. Between bays, board door in quoined ashlar surround. Ground-floor
windows: pointed-arched ashlar surrounds with lattice shutters. First-floor
windows: shuttered, ashlar surrounds with segmental-pointed flat-arched
lintels. Ashlar coping, with weather-vane to right. Rear: of similar
design but the doorway is pointed-arched and with 3-pane fanlight. Right
return: 3 pointed-arched windows, the lower 2 with lattice shutters, the top
one shuttered.
